We’re pleased to announce that our next online lesson will take place on Saturday, September 20th at 5:15 PM JST.
The theme this month is “Handling the Objects” — a fundamental practice in both etiquette (Reiho) and traditional martial arts. In this session, we will explore the proper way to handle traditional items such as fans, trays, bows, and arrows. These practices are not only about technique, but also about mindfulness, respect, and elegance in movement.
Each object has its own form, and how we treat it reflects our inner discipline and awareness. While we may not handle every item in a single session, this class will offer valuable insight into these foundational movements.
Whether you are new to traditional Japanese practices or continuing your training, this session is a chance to deepen your understanding of the philosophy behind every gesture.
Date: Saturday, September 20th
Time: 5:15 PM (Japan Standard Time)
