Turning with Precision: Moving from the Koshi This lesson focuses on turning techniques in Reiho, all performed with awareness of the koshi — the integrated movement of the lower back and hips. You'll learn turning from a standstill (on the spot), turning while walking (changing direction), and turning while sitting in kiza (a formal kneeling posture similar to seiza). Each form helps develop grounded movement, balance, and body awareness.
